Travelling to humid countries is every curly hair person’s worst nightmare, be prepared for the frizz, flyaways, and undefined curls. Luckily, throughout our travels I have been able to find some great products that work for me and allow me to have great curls in humid weather.

I’ve put together a list of products that I love and hopefully they can help you out on your travels as well!

Cantu Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream

My go-to no matter where I am in the world, I will not travel without a tub of this (even though it is so heavy, Cantu if you’re reading this we need travel sized products please!) my hair is never the same without it. It moisturises my curls beautifully and makes my hair look so healthy, I also use some each day to refresh my curls.

Cantu Curl Activator Cream

This works like a dream along size the leave in it gets rid of all the frizz and creates beautifully, soft, defined curls.

Cantu Shine & Define Custard

Again, this works great with the other Cantu products, I use this to give my curls more hold so they last longer. When I use this my wash and go lasts around 4/5 days, so it’s great to use whilst travelling and a little goes a long way!

Eco Styler Argan Oil

This is great to slick your hair down into protective styles, if you don’t want your hair out all the time. You can style slick buns and plaits etc. and the gel will get rid of all the flyaways and slick down baby hairs!

Soft n’ free Curl Moisturising Spray

Since I found this, I never want to be without it! This is my go to curl refresher not only does it smell beautiful, it gets rid of frizz and re-defines my curls.

Shea Moisture JBCO Mask

If I am going away for a week or longer I always take a hair mask with me, it helps to detangle my curls and gives my hair the boost of moisture it needs. I love the Shea Moisture JBCO Mask as it helps my hair feel soft and healthy after I rinse it out.

Whenever I’m travelling I know the sun, sea and swimming is going to dry my hair out a lot, so I always take an oil with me. My go tos are coconut oil and black castor oil, I use some at night time to help with hydration, I do not recommend using it during the day as the oil will burn your scalp.

Yes this list is very long, but, honestly I do not travel without these products, some of the products I decanter into smaller travel sized pots in order to make them lighter. I would love to hear what your favourite products are so I can test and try new ones!
